AT Bonython Primary School we have been planning Learning by Design placemats which focus on the explicit teaching of reading strategies. See the attachments to download examples of our work. We will implement these during term 2 and collect ongoing data about how our students' reading improves.

Getting started
Once you are logged in, there are a few things to do. 1. Upload a photo or Avatar and write a few things about yourself in the profile. There are prompts to help. 2. Go to the page allocated to your school or pre-school (in the box on the left). Go to 'Easy Edit' and you can type and add images. 3. Post some information on your school/pre-school page. Describe the focus of your action research, your baseline data/ what the your research revealed etc, describe your focus students (REMEMBER NO NAMES), class and setting. You will be able to use this in your final 'report'. TIP Lots of images will make your page slow to manipulate, you can add these to a new page or create a link to the photos page on the maroon bar.
